Protocol for supporting Vape users

Clients must be aged 18 or over to receive a vape as part of their treatment plan.
In the event of a client presenting wishing to make a quit attempt with a vape or nicotine containing product (NCP), continue as per usual treatment guidelines.
They may have NRT in addition to the vape, if they are attempting to quit smoking tobacco.
Ensure all therapeutic interventions are recorded.
Clients who are no longer smoking tobacco products at the end of the intervention are classed as quit, even if they are still using a vape or NCP.
