- NICE guidance [updated in November 2021, recommends that vapes (e-cigs) are recognised as an option for patients quitting smoking].
- Public Health England (now known as OHID) suggest:
- “Vaping is a fraction of the risk of smoking, significantly less harmful, and of negligible risk to bystanders.”
- Vaping devices are regulated by government under the Tobacco and Related Product Regulations 2016.
